What is Ecotherapy?
Ecotherapy supports you to experience a transformational shift in your relationship with the living world. It can positively support you to see nature with different eyes, and find yourself as part of something bigger than you. We use a range of models, tools and practices to support individuals in a group setting to experience this profound shift. Essentially, we facilitate a process, which enables the natural world to work with you, guide you and change you.
The practices can be tailored to the time available and the needs of the group. It could be activities such as making a piece of artwork with objects from outside, learning the song of the river, playing games, a sensory walk or spending time alone outside.
Facilitated time out in nature can encourage the individual or a team needing to solve a problems or improve collaborative working.
Those embarking on ecotherapy will be supported throughout their journey and leave with a range of practices and exercises to support them in their day-to-day lives.
